From 100% Barbera, the fruit was hand picked, completely de-stemmed and lightly crushed. The must was pumped over 3 times per day, and fermentation lasted 8 days on the skins. After gently pressing, the wine was aged for 10 months and bottle aged 3 months prior to release. This wine is ruby-red in color, with purplish highlights when young. The nose is fresh,with soft scents of ripe plum, sensations that are carried through onto the palate. This wine makes a fine accompaniment to pasta and rice dishes.

Aged for 8 - 9 months in steel tank, this Barbera is a ruby red color, with very intense aromas of red fruits like cherry and blackberry. Medium bodied, velvety and high acidity, which is typical of the grape.  This can be paired with sausage or spicy foods.
