During the second decanting, the wine is put into oaken barrels where it stays for 10-12 months.  This wine is bright ruby-red which softens on aging. There is a delicate, fruity nose of raspberries and violets that becomes ethereal over time, and a dry, balanced flavor. It has a full body that softens after aging and lingers on the finish.
