2016 Sanfeletto Bosco di
Fratta Prosecco is made from 100% Prosecco (Glera), which comes from a careful
selection of grapes grown in the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG, in
Eastern Veneto. After hand harvesting, the grapes are fermented with selected
yeasts for 60 days at controlled temperatures (14 ° C) in
pressure thanks (Charmat Method). A second long fermentation is induced, which
breaks down almost completely the sugars present in the wine, enabling the
producer to create a uniquely dry and more refined Prosecco Brut, which clearly
stands above the mass produced competition.
This phenomenal prosecco has a light straw yellow color with reflections of
green, and an abundant froth
with very fine, evanescent and persistent bubbles. The nose is pleasant with reminiscent of the wisteria and acacia flowers. The palate is rich, fruity and creamy with soft
persistent bubbles, flavors of green apples and citrus, balanced by an uncommon
