This 100% pure-blooded Sangiovese is made by well-known wine-maker and owners Bernardetta & Paolo Vagaggini, who is considered to be one of the world experts on Sangiovese and has been named as one of the top ten oenologists in Italy!

2007 Sangiovese Riserva is aged in French and Slovenian oak barrels, for three years, with a long maceration on the skins, which increase the excellent characteristics of this fabulous wine. The color is an intense ruby red with delicate, fruity fragrance, like a morello cherry. 2007 Sangiovese Riserva is full-bodied, powerful, yet, elegant and balanced with velvety tannin. It can compete with any Brunello! Wine Enthusiast 95 Points.
