The
Vermentino Orriu Quartomoro is produced from 100% Vermentino grapes
from the Monti area at an altitude of 50 meters above the sea level. The
vineyards for the Vermentino Orriu Quartomoro were planted in 1995 on a
sandy and clay soil. The harvest is manual with selection in the
vineyard, the grapes are softly pressed and fermented at 16-17C. The
wine is then matured on the yeast for 4 months and aged in bottle before
release.
"Veor" by Quartomoro is a white wine of beautiful progression, aroma of aromatic herbs, white fruit and spicy nuances accompanied
by mineral puffs. Balanced, round, savoury and fresh on the palate.
Color is straw yellow with greenish reflections in the glass. It expresses a
delicate floral and herbaceous tones with slightly mineral hints. On the
palate, it relaxes with a full, fresh and juicy sip.
