This dry white wine of great structure is from the town of Corno di Rosazzo, Friuli Colli Orientali. East exposed hill, that has marl soil.
This special wine is made with 100% Friulano from a 75 years old vine. Harvest with a selection of grapes, fermentation of grapes at a controlled temperature of 18° per 20 days, and maturation of the must in stainless steel vats for 8 months, further aging in bottle for 4 months.
The color is intense straw yellow with an aroma of wildflowers and a hint of green apple, with overtones of citrus.
The taste is rich in layers of fabulous taste, silky, savory, complex with bitter almond aftertaste.
It expresses its best in the 2 years after bottling, maintaining its features for at least 10 years.
This dry white wine of great structure. Thanks to its complexity it matches well with first courses, white meat, roasts, and fish in general.
