Description Technical Specs (May be in Italian If There Is Not an English Version Available)

Wines made with Trebbiano d'Abbruzzo gained fame in the early 17th century when it was praised for its high quality by Spanish writer, Miguel de Cervantes, in his “Novelas Ejemplares.” These wines tend to be low in acidity with faint aromatics that can be lightly floral. When produced with some oak the wines have a creamy richness with pear and apple flavors and slight oxidized notes of caramel and nuts. In the glass this Trebbiano d'Abbruzzo is of a bright yellow straw color. The nose has pleasant hints of ripe fruit and wild flowers. The palate is bold with flavors of anjou pears, citrus fruit with brisk acidity, light minerality and a long crisp finish.

Pairs well with Light Pasta Dishes, Vegetables, Seafood, Fish, Poultry and Triple Cream Cheeses.

A great little bottle of white wine perfect for starting a meal, flavors of ripe pear and citrus dance on the tongue balanced by light mineral notes and a lingering crispy finish
