"In the 2015 Pallagrello Nero Ambruco
I find a spicy display of crushed blackberries, complemented by a dusty
mix of mint leaf, licorice, dried orange peel, and a hint of bay leaf.
On the palate, soft, fleshy textures give way to blue and black fruits,
backed by vibrant acids, as minerals drench the senses, creating an
energetic yet also refined expression. It finishes long, with a coating
of liquid purple florals, echoes of ripe black fruits, smoked meats, and
a hint of tannin. The 2015 Ambruco (100% Pallagrello Nero) is an
undeniably beautiful wine that is completely open for business and worth
seeking out."

"The 2015 Ambruco
represents perfectly the Pallagrello Nero grape. This warm and sunny vintage has shaped a
generous and fruit-forward expression of the Campania variety with
bright aromas of dried blackberry, candied cherry, plum, spice and
grilled herb. The wine finishes with bright acidity and sharp berry
flavors. You get lots of authentic and rustic personality with this
cheerful wine. Pair it with your favorite Italian pasta dishes. It ages
in barrique for one year. Only 5,000 bottles were made."
