In this dry yet fruity white, we can find the structure of Fiano and the aromas of
Falanghina grapes. The union of
these excellent varietals from Campania is unpredictable and charming: together
they create a wine with a surprising and great vitality. The Fiano is aged for 6 months in
barrique: this partial aging gives this white wine further complexity without
renouncing to freshness and flavor.
In the glass, it
is a clear, pale gold wine with hints of green. On the nose, we have tropical fruits with an intense floral
touch, and a clear overtone of hazelnut and dried fruit. On the palate, it is
luscious and savory, with great length and medium structure. Costacielo beautifully matches well with savory glazed light meats like orange-rosemary roasted chicken and soy-glazed salmon.
