Description Technical Specs (May be in Italian If There Is Not an English Version Available)

Castello di Cigognola stands among the hills of the Oltrepò Pavese, embraced by Piedmont and Emilia, in what was known until the Unification of Italy, as “Old Piedmont”.
This is a unique Barbera: the producers gently press the grape, and then immediately remove the skin so there is no contact with the freshly pressed juice. This process produces a beautiful, delicate white wine, more commonly known as Barbera Bianco. It has aromas of green apple and fresh white flowers. On the palate, it is balanced and enveloping with a spicy hint, pleasant and interesting. Pair with a fresh summer salad and delicately spiced white meats.

Very unique wine, I've never had a white wine made from red grapes and this bottle really surprised me! It had great flavor and was not too sweet.
