It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes. The
vinification takes place at a controlled temperature with a maceration
on the skins for about 3 weeks, with periodic repassing. Subsequently, the wine ages in barriques at controlled temperature for 24 months, and for a further period in the bottle.
Montepirolo is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with hints of currants and marjoram, enriched with elegant aromas of licorice. The palate is pleasantly round, with an excellent structure and a persistent finish, with pleasant and velvety tannins.
Perfect to accompany meat sauce, roasts and stewed meats, it is ideal paired with risottos and fresh cheeses.
