Produced in a Bordeauxesque
style, this wine is made of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc,
from biodynamic vineyards on the hills of Coriano.
After skin-contact maceration at controlled temperature for 3 weeks, the wine
is aged in barrique
for 24 months, and further in bottle. In the glass, this wonderful wine has a
ruby red in color. The nose opens with hints of currant, peppery spices, and
marjoram, with elegant aromas of licorice, cherry, and earth. The palate is
round and lovely, with a fantastic structure, smooth and velvety tannins, and
long delicious finish. Pair it with
stewed meats and sauces, roasts, risotto and fresh cheeses.
