This wine is produced from the best parts of the Nerello Mascalese90%and Nerello Cappuccio 10% , selected for the perfect polyphenolic maturation . The long maceration at low temperature enables a complete extraction of the components creating a wine in which the true potentiality of these particular grapes and of the Etna terroir exalts. Elegant tannins, remarkable concentration and deep complexity are attributed to the black vulcanic soil found in Etna, and allows the wine to have a delicate expression. Hints of spice are perceived on the palate which compliment the dark black fruit notes. The finish fleshes out traces of vanilla and toasted hazelnuts. Pair with grilled meats and soft, aged cheeses.
