100% Aglianico from Alto Salento, located at 70 meters above
sea level on tuffaceous-calcareous
soils, this wine is made with delicate care. Aged in new french Tonneaux for
8-10 months, it
rests for 18
months in bottle before releasing.
With a deep ruby red color, this
fabulous Aglianico waves of blackberry and
blueberry jam, sweet
chocolate, eucalyptus, and light mineral nuances on the nose. The palate is fresh persistent, full, and rich,
balanced with a long, rare and
elegant balsamic finish. Pair it with any meat
dish or Bolognese pasta.
