This is an unbelievable Moscato. The monks at Abtei Muri produce microscopic amounts of this very difficult to make wine. Moscato Rosa is an extraordinarily aromatic wine that has an incredibly vibrant light red color and enchants with its complex, sweet, fruity, and spicy flavor, with floral notes reminiscent of dried rose and cloves.
Moscato Rosa is a full-body dessert wine, it is sweet yet balanced enough to make you think it isn't sweet. Though it has 13% alcohol, the feeling it gives you is of ethereal lightness. Elegant, balanced, never cloying, with just sensational sweet fruit flavors intertwined with clean fragrant rose petal aromatics. Truly an amazing wine, perfect with cheese, pastry desserts!
