Torrette is the hill that overlooks the villages of Saint Pierre and Sarre in the gorgeous Valle D’Aosta. To be called Torrette, a wine must contain at least 70% of the native grape. This Torrette is made from 80% Petite Rouge, 20% Fummin, it is characterized by its full body. This beautiful intense wine is dry and silky with a bouquet of red berries and ripe red fruits and almonds. In the mouth, it is rich and complex, and has a graceful touch that makes it elegant and consistent. It pairs well with red meat, roasts, games, and aged cheeses.
