Cabernet, Merlot, Sangiovese - the composition of many of the Super Tuscan wines of central Italy. The Sant Antimo DOC takes its name from the magnificent Romanesque 12th-century Abbey of Sant Antimo, which sits in a valley surrounded by vineyards. Located in Tuscany's Montalcino area in central Italy, the DOC covers almost precisely the same production zone as the prestigious Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and its DOC siblings, Rosso di Montalcino and Moscadello di Montalcino. Dark ruby appearance and flecks of garnet. Slightly balsamic nose that indicates long barrel ageing, leather, dark berries, spices, cherry and discreet oak. The palate is harmonious with a good dose of complexity, rich but integrated tannin, a complex spiciness on the finish and very good length, nice drinkability and plenty of character. 94 Point

I originally tasted this wine at the winery outside of Montalcino with Lionel cousin, the owner/winemaker.  I don't think I have ever tasted a better wine.  I am glad that I was able to purchase this wine through your wine shop since I was able to only bring three bottles back with me.
